Overview & Access

Collaboration is a a real-time communication platform through which Suppliers can collaborate with Walmart Associates.

Navigate to https://collab.sourcing.walmart.com/ to launch the tool from your browser. Log in using the same email and password you use for Supplier One.

After logging onto the Collaboration Tool, you have visibility to active, pinned, unread, muted, inactive, and archived messages. With the capability to search and send new messages from the home screen.

Send Messages & Attachments

Send Messages

  1. After logging into Collaboration, select the + at the bottom right corner of the screen to send a new message.
  2. There are two options, New Group or Scan & Update.
  3. Select New Group to create a new message.
  4. Provide a Title for the message, then select Next.
  5. Under Manage Participants, type in the user's email to include in the message. Select the box to choose the user.
  6. To add multiple users, enter the user's email to include in the message. Select the box to choose the user. Once all users have been selected, click the Start button.

Send Attachments

  1. To send an attachment, select the + button in the bottom left corner. You can drag and drop the desired file or click to upload.
  2. Once the file has been selected, click Upload.
  3. Add a message and select the arrow to send the message.

Pin & Mute Conversations

To pin a message, select the pin icon. The message will be moved to the Pinned section.

To mute a conversation, select the audio icon. The message will be moved to the Muted section.

Manage Users

  1. To add or remove participants from messages, select the desired message.
  2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and select Manage Users.
  3. You can add or remove users from messages:
    1. Remove users from messages by unchecking the box and click Submit.
    2. Add users by selecting Add Members.
  4. Enter the user's email address, select the box to choose the user and click on Add Members.
  5. Once all users have been added or removed, click on the arrow in the upper left corner.

Archive Conversations

  1. To archive conversations, double click the desired message.
  2. Click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner, then select End Conversation.
  3. The conversation will be moved to the Archive tab.

Branch Out

To have a conversation with certain users from a group, use the Brand Out functionality.

  1. Double click on the desired message.
  2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Branch Out.
  3. Select the desired user and click Branch Out.
