Updated 3 months ago by Merch Transformation Change Management

Drop Ship Vendor (DSV)

A Drop Ship Vendor (DSV) is a supplier who ships items directly to customers (or Walmart stores).

Warehouse (Owned)

A Warehouse (also called Owned) supplier is a supplier who ships items to a Walmart warehouse. Walmart houses the inventory and ships it to customers (or Walmart stores).

Both

Many of Walmart's suppliers are both DSVs and Warehouse suppliers.

What You'll See in Supplier One

If you are both supplier types, here's how to view content relevant to each fulfillment method.

Order Management

Click Owned or DSV to view orders for that supplier type.

Catalog - Item Configurations View

Look for Fulfillment method when you customize the data set or apply filters. The data for the item configuration shows Warehouse or DSV.

Item Setup

Look for Fulfillment method to confirm the type of item you are setting up.

Only Warehouse (Owned) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) items have a tab for Trade Item Configurations.

The experience is the same when setting up items in bulk using a spreadsheet. Only Warehouse (Owned) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) items have a tab for Trade Item Configurations.

Claims and Returns Scorecard
