You can apply here.
2. What's the difference between a Drop Ship Vendor (DSV) and a Warehouse supplier?
A Warehouse (also called Owned) supplier is a supplier who ships items to a Walmart warehouse. Walmart houses the inventory and ships it to customers. A Drop Ship Vendor (DSV) is a supplier who ships the items directly to customers (or stores).
3. What's required to become a Drop Ship Vendor (DSV)?
The DSV Program is focused on high-volume suppliers. To become a DSV, your business must meet all DSV Program Requirements and you must be invited by a Walmart.com Category Specialist (buyer).
4. What is the onboarding process like? What type of information do I have to provide?
To learn about the onboarding process, refer to the Supplier Onboarding articles. The checklist provides a high-level overview of the onboarding process.
5. How can I integrate with Walmart?
At the moment, we have three ways you can integrate with Walmart. Every method has its own advantages.
- Partner Tools: Approved suppliers and DSVs can set up items in Supplier One. DSVs can also update inventory and manage orders in Supplier One.
- Connected Content Partners (CCPs): If you would like help managing your items, you can team up with a Connected Content Partner (CCP). You can learn more about this program in Integrate Using a Connected Content Partner.
- API: You can directly integrate with Walmart systems using our APIs to set up items, update inventory, and manage orders. You can learn more about our APIs at https://developer.walmart.com/.
- EDI: You can directly integrate with Walmart systems using EDI to update your inventory and manage your orders. EDI doesn't support item setup. You can learn more about EDI in DSV Onboarding: SPS Commerce Services.
6. Does Walmart have any preferred or exclusive Connected Content Partners (CCPs)?
There is a list of approved providers, however, there is no preferred provider within this list. If you have questions about the CCP program, you can learn more in Integrate Using a Connected Content Partner.
7. I'm a Marketplace seller. Can I become a DSV as well?
If you meet the requirements for both the DSV Program and Walmart.com Marketplace, then you can sell as both a DSV and a Marketplace Seller. However, any items you offer must be sold as either a DSV or a Marketplace seller. You can't sell the same item as both a Marketplace seller and a DSV.
